About the stand

Our story

The farmstand was reimagined to become a place the promotes agrotourism, farm education, and a place that unites the community through the cleanest food possible. We connect our customers to organic and better-than-organic produce that either comes directly from our farm or from local family owned farms and gardens. Some of our produce is certified organic, while other items may be considered better-than-organic. Better-than-organic produce means that it has never been sprayed with anything, ever.

Our goal is to host regular community farm-to-table events, have seasonal favorites like a pumpkin patch or Christmas tree lot, open up the farm to farm tours and field trips, and much more! We really want to create a safe haven for our community to gather and eat healthy foods that will fuel their bodies and promote a healthier lifestyle + community.

The people behind the stand

Phil (Farmer) - When we moved to the area, we quickly planted a vegetable garden and filled the existing corrals with cows, pigs, goats and chickens. We began with a small garden and we quickly ended up having extra produce. Not wanting to let anything go to waste, we decided to sell the extra produce at the local farmer’s market. The next step was deciding where to establish the farm. All of the fruits and vegetables on our family farm are grown using organic processes and sparkling clean, natural well water, we also maintain strict organic guidelines in raising our steers, chickens and pigs as well. We feel a strong connection to you, our neighbors, and we enjoy looking out for Southern California’s healthy food needs.

Victoria (Part Owner) - After having my son, my husband and I decided we wanted him to live a life more connected to nature and less tied to technology. This includes making sure we are nourishing our bodies with the cleanest food possible. We wanted our son to have access to the cleanest food out there and I've always wanted to connect our community to cleaner means + educate others on how to find clean foods that you can actually trust. Win, win! About me: I have 8 animals (5 dogs + 3 cats), a 1.5 year old and an amazing husband. I grew up all over since my dad was in the military, but largely grew up in Hawaii. We spend our free time working out and making memories with our little one.

Joanne (Part Owner) - Back in 2020, I was presented with an amazing opportunity to manage the 40 acre property on which our farm stand is located. As a recently transplanted New Yorker, I was intrigued and excited about the prospect of running a farm. My grandfather had a small orchard of fig trees in his suburban NY backyard and grew grapes that he crushed and made into the darkest red wine right in his cellar. My passion for farm-fresh fruits and vegetables started there. Being out in the sun and dirt all day was very appealing. I learned almost everything through my hands-on experience. A farm stand was the natural extension of my commitment to organically grown produce. I was delighted to partner with Victoria. We both bring different degrees of business experience and creative elements to the on-going growth and success of our business ventures. About me: I have 4 grown sons. I enjoy dancing, reading, and anything sun-sand-surf.

Pedro (Farm Superintendent) - Pedro has been at the farm for over 4 years and his love and dedication for the property shines throughout everything he does on the property. Pedro wears many hats here, he takes care of every day farm maintenance and landscaping. He harvest vegetables, takes care of some of the ranch animals and takes care of the upkeep of the stand.

Mercy (Admin Assistant/Social Media Manager) - Growing up my diet consisted of fast and easy meals with little-to-no nutritional value. After high school, I slowly started to learn more about nutrient-dense food and healthy eating. Being apart of the farm stand has given me access to some of the best quality produce and allows me to continue my education of clean and nourishing food. I love being able to showcase the farm stand and connecting with our community virtually. About me: I grew up in North County San Diego, where I met my now husband and we have the sweetest cattle dog, Molly. When I’m not working, I love going to the beach, cooking and going shopping.
